Dear Journal,
We all got to sleep last night! I slept in the nursery and came back when I wanted food. Mommy and daddy felt so much better when they got up. Daddy woke up really early and went home to feed Appleton and take a shower. I was dressed up all cute when he came back and we got some great pictures!
We had a nice relaxing day getting to know each other. In the afternoon Shannon came to visit me. Then John and Bri came to see me. It’s fun meeting new friends. At the end of the night before we went to sleep daddy went out to Cheesecake Factory to get mommy a special treat. Wow, what a great guy! I sure hope he does special things like that for me when I'm older. Mommy says he definitely will!
