Dear Journal,

Mommy went back to work today! What?!?! I'm only 4 weeks old. I got all worried when she left but daddy said she was only going to be gone for a few hours and it was only for today so she could get some final things done for the school year. WHEW!

The fun part was that while she was gone I got to be alone with daddy. Then, the doorbell rang and it was Grandpa Harasim. I remember him from the hospital.  He had to do some work in Indianapolis and he decided to come see me. I loved it!  I was so busy with daddy and grandpa that mommy came home before I knew it.  I love my family!

Dear Journal,

It's hard to believe I am four weeks old today! I was feeling a little bashful for this picture!

Dear Jounal,

I did it! I slept through the night and I woke up cute for grandma and grandpa. I sure enjoyed spending time with them this morning before we left.  I can't wait to visit them and my other grandparents really soon!

We had to leave around lunch time because we had a wedding to go to!  Mommy and daddy's friends Chris and Suzy got married today.  Mommy played it safe and fed me in the car while daddy attended the beautiful outdoor ceremony.  He said it was so nice!  After the ceremony I went to the reception. I got to sit with Shane, Sara, John and Bri.  I was pretty good for a couple of hours, but it was pretty hot. So when I started to get a little fussy mommy and daddy decided to wisk me off before I got cranky in front of all those people.
Everyone said I sure looked cute in my little white dress!

Dear Journal,

Now that I am almost 4 weeks old, I think it's time to travel. Daddy had the day off today so we decided to go and see Grandma and Grandpa Lister tonight (since we are going to try and see Grandma and Grandpa Harasim for 4th of July!).

I was so excited to go! I even put my special I Love Grandma bib on before we left.

I impressed Mom, Dad, Bartok, and Coppola in the car.  I slept the whole way there. Grandma and Grandpa thought I was so cute.

Aunt Katie came and I got to meet Jack for the first time!

I was a really good girl until after dinner. Then I realized I wasn't at my house.  Now I am typically the world's best baby, so mommy and daddy were a little disappointed with my behavior.

I got so worked up that they decided to take me for a car ride to try and calm me down. That didn't really work either. They brought me back into the house and I was still a crab apple. When we got back the Wilsons and Fosnaughs were there. Now, I like to be cute and show off for new people, so after my nightime swaddle I went out and hung out for awhile and was sweet again. Now I'm off to bed, and guess what? I'm going to do a good job in my pack and play so mommy and daddy can sleep.

Dear Journal,

Today was an interesting morning. Mommy and daddy said we had to go get me something called a passport. They said they want to take me on my first vacation this summer to Canada to visit Uncle Chris and the rest of the family. Mommy told me that if I didn’t have a passport I wouldn’t be allowed to cross the border into Canada!

So we went to the post office to turn in my paperwork. Daddy said some of the questions were hard to answer….like my eye color and my height!  Then, I had to get my picture taken. Mommy said it was ridiculous! There was a big square on the wall that big people usually use for pictures. Well, mommy had to hold me up to the square, but she couldn’t have any part of her hands showing. Then, they said my eyes HAD to be open. So mommy was kneeling on the floor, holding me up, and shaking me to get my eyes open. Daddy stood next to us and laughed. They said it was quite an ordeal!! Oh well…international travel, here I come!
