Dear Journal,

I have now mastered rice cereal and sweet potatos. This girl needs some variety. Guess what I had for dinner tonight?

SQUASH!!!

Don't worry, I made mommy and daddy cook it in the oven first. Then I made them puree it in the food proccessor. I know, I know, I'm demanding. But man, it was so good! I'm lucky to have parents who like to cook!

Dear Journal,

Mommy says I haven't been working fast enough on updating my journal for everyone. You see, I have been keeping up, but I've been saving my entries in word documents since I don't get pictures loaded everyday. I thought I could catch up by the end of September but that's not happening.

So...mommy says I need to start typing my journal entries online so people can have up to date stories. She says she will go back later and help me catch up and add pictures.  So, be sure to check back to see all my old stories...mommy says by the end of October we will be all caught up.

Tonight was fun! Daddy worked so mommy and I went to see my cousins!  We had dinner with them and we hung out for a few hours. Uncle Pat came home a few minutes before I left so I made sure to get a picture with him.  It's his birthday in a few days...Happy early birthday Uncle Pat!

Dear Journal,

Decisions, decisions…what should I eat today. The decision is difficult when you have sweet potatoes and real toes!

Dear Journal,
Picture day! We got up today and got all prettied up.

We went to Butler University and got family pictures taken.  I think they turned out really well. I wasn’t super smiley, but I think I look pretty sweet.

CHECK BACK...I"ll be adding pictures from our photo shoot in a few days!

I was SO TIRED from all that posing!

Mommy also made me some REAL sweet potatoes today…I like real food much better than real food. Yum Yum Yum!

Dear Journal,

Today Grandpa Harasim came to see me! First I got to watch him and daddy put together a cool work bench in the garage. Then, he came in and fed me a bottle. I just loved it. I spend some good quality time with him and sat on his lap and played. We had a pizza party (although they wouldn’t let me eat that!). I missed grandma and hope she feels better soon.

After grandpa left we went over to Macy and McKenna’s for a BBQ. Jane was there and all of us girls got to get in our pjs and have our late night bottle together. It was a lot of fun!

Dear Journal,

Mom and dad were really late picking me up from Loving Hearts today. When we got home I saw a new car in the driveway.  Woah! It was a cool red Honda Fit.   I guess daddy’s old civic finally  kicked the bucket.

I was happy to see that they already put a car seat in for me. Let’s ride! My first ride in the new car was to Gusto’s. Unfortunately, I was a little cranky because they picked me up late. We ended up having to get our dinners “to go”.

Dear Journal,

Tonight mommy had all the Dinner Time Divas over for their monthly girl time.  I thought I was going to get to be there, since I’m a girl, but daddy was home!  I was all excited to spend some time with daddy.  But as soon as we got upstairs, I got really upset that the divas didn’t want me. I cried and cried for almost 2 hours! Daddy was exhausted. Sorry daddy! It wasn’t you, it was me wanting to cook with the ladies. Love you lots and lots.

Dear Journal,

I have been a hungry little monster lately!  I have been getting up in the middle of the night for more food, and demanding an extra bottle at day care.  So mommy and daddy finally got the hint…feed me!  That’s right, tonight I got to try my first food! It was oatmeal baby cereal.  First daddy showed me all the spoons we had and I got to choose the color I wanted.  Then, they put it in my mouth and I smiled at them.  I didn’t really eat much, but it sure was fun to act like a big person and use a spoon.  I hope we get to do this tomorrow, too!

Check back in a few days for pictures....

Dear Journal,

My Grandma and Grandpa Lister sure are fun. We had a great day and I showed them all my cute expressions. Grandpa had on Imus in the morning and I was so intrigued that I scooted myself around to see the TV better. Mommy said I shouldn't be watching that show. Aw nuts!

Later in the day before grandpa went to work he helped me suck on my first frozen teething ring. I slobbered all over him! Then it was just us girls for a few hours before mommy and I packed up.

I fell asleep before we got on the highway and slept the whole way home. Mommy put me down in my crib and I stayed asleep! (I just got out of bed now to type this journal, I better get back in my crib before mommy catches me!)

Dear Journal,

I knew something funny was going on today.  Mommy wrote this big long note on my daycare sheet about having me eat late, not taking a late nap, changing me into a different outfit this afternoon, and having me ready to go at 3:00pm.
I wasn’t sure what was going on until they changed me and I read my shirt.. “Off to grandmas”. Yippee!!!  I got so excited. I get to see Grandma and Grandpa Lister today!  Daddy had to work this weekend so mommy picked me up and told me to rest up.  I slept almost the whole way there.  I woke up when we were around Huntington and freaked out because I didn’t know where I was. Mommy pulled off the side of the road and showed me her face. I smiled and we moved on.
We just finished having a BBQ and now I am getting ready for bed. I better run…grandma is going to feed me my bottle tonight. Yay grandma!!

Dear Journal,

Tonight we went to see Dr. Roscoe. When the nurse came in the room she looked at her notes and said, “So you are the one that sounds like Darth Vadar”. Everyone there thought my dad was pretty funny. Dr. R prescribed my first real medicine…amoxicillin. My mommy told me she is super allergic to that…sure hope I didn’t inherit her allergies!

Then we went to St. Barnabus for baptism class. I was not feeling well and I was a big old grump. In fact, mommy ended up missing most of the class and walking me around outside so I would calm down. It’s not my fault! I don’t feel well and it’s my bedtime. Seven o’clock was not a good start time for this meeting. After the meeting I screamed and screamed. Mommy and daddy each had their car so I rode home with daddy and mommy went and picked up my medicine. It’s nine o clock now and I am still not asleep. WAHHHHHHH!!!!

Dear Journal,

I am still sick. STILL! I have been sick forever. We went to the doctors about a week and a half ago so they could see my runny nose and hear me cough. They told me to take Benadryl but it’s not working very well. Daddy called back the doctor and when they asked what was wrong he told them that I sound like Darth Vadar. They laughed and said I need to go in to see Dr. Roscoe tomorrow night.

Dear Journal,

Technically it’s Tuesday now. I am having quite a night. I’m stuffy, I’m hungry I don’t feel good and I DON’T WANT TO SLEEP! Sorry mom and dad but I don’t think you are going to get much sleep tonight.
